Guatemala
If you want a coffee with serious depth and a chocolate richness that doesn't quit, Guatemala is it. This is the coffee that turns sceptics into single-origin converts — and it's our most reviewed origin for a reason. Guatemala grows coffee the hard way — on active volcanoes, in thin mountain air, on steep slopes where machinery can't reach and everything is done by hand.
The result is some of the most intensely flavoured coffee in the world. This lot is from the Antigua region — the most celebrated growing area in Guatemala, surrounded by three volcanoes (Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango). The volcanic soil gives the coffee a mineral richness you can taste — deep dark chocolate, a wisp of smoke, and a brown sugar sweetness that lingers. It's full-bodied but never harsh.

- Espresso — Stunning. Rich, syrupy, with a dark chocolate crema. One of our favourites for milk-based drinks.
- Cafetière / French Press — Brings out the full chocolate body. Use a coarse grind, 4 minutes steep.
